Welcome to the Lavendon School Website

I am very pleased to welcome you and your child to Lavendon School and I hope that you find our website informative.  Please come and visit our school to see how happy our children are, and take the opportunity to ask us any questions you may have.

At Lavendon we provide a wide range of experiences for every child and create a caring, challenging and stimulating environment, enabling each one to achieve to the highest standard.  We aim to make our children feel that they and their achievements are valued, as without believing in themselves children do not achieve all that their talents and abilities will allow.  We also attach great importance to the consideration of others at all times and encourage our children to play their part in the community.

By working in partnership with you, their parents, we will teach our pupils the skills needed for success in an ever-changing world and motivate them to become lifelong learners.  We will do all we can to make sure that your child enjoys his or her time at Lavendon School and benefits from the opportunities offered.

Our Village

Lavendon is the most northerly village in Milton Keynes, it shares borders with Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. The village is surrounded with pleasant open countryside.

Lavendon is a thriving village; we have a busy shop which also provides a post office inside. There is a toddlers group, an active Brownie pack and a weekly youth club. Lavendon is very close to Olney, a market town with excellent shopping facilities and banks.

The village has a large playing field. The playing field is used by Lavendon School for sports training and practice

The church building is the oldest in the Milton Keynes area. It is set in beautiful grounds and looks over the village.  Reverend Christa Pumfrey visits Lavendon School each week to take a morning assembly.
